Calling Britax was on my to-do list because DS2 has been chewing on the recalled part and it was coming apart!!!!

The Britax name and model number is on a label attached side of the car seat. The recall only affects G3 model car seats that were manufactured between June 1, 2012 and August 31, 2012.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”), in cooperation with Britax Child Safety, Inc., is voluntarily recalling convertible car seat models Boulevard 70-G3, Pavilion 70-G3 (the Pavilion 70-G3 Plaza Diapers.com Exclusive is not affected), and Advocate 70-G3. Roundabout and Marathon convertible car seats are not subject to this recall.

The HUGS strap pads on these recalled car seats can pose a choking hazard when children chew on the straps. Consumers can contact Britax for a replacement strap pads with instructions. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Owners may remove HUGS strap pads and continue using the seat until replacement pads are received.
