    Default Neck and back soreness from running

    Admittedly I am only getting back into my running groove now but this has been an off an on issue even when I was running regularly and in good shape. I can't pinpoint the problem bc it doesn't happen every time, in fact it usually is fine. I run and other days I do weights (lower weights, high reps a la Body Pump). I wear barefoot running shoes but it was a problem even in my good running shoes. Any thoughts on cause, like technique/ form? I run outside on sidewalks or trails.

    humm are you sure it isn't from the weights?

    if you are sure, could it be that the sun is in your eyes and you are straining your neck looking down something or something like that that is causing you to change your form? Is it a different bra hurting your back? Sorry these are random thoughts. Very mysterious!

    No, I'd get it if I hadn't done any weights any time recently. I almost always look down to some degree bc of cracks in the sidewalk and other hazards to be aware of. The bra one is worth considering! Thanks!
