Tell me about Ninjago!

Yes that's the Lloyd spinner. He is my DS's favorite. And it is funny that Lloyd is the "cool" name he started out as a bad kid and the son of "Lord Garmadon" There is a full on mythology that goes with all of this. I agree the shows aren't bad. They are on cartoon network. I let my DVR record old and new episodes and I think we had them all in just a couple weeks.

FWIW they aren't very expensive on DVD and if you have a long car ride they play a long time. I had a 14 hour car trip this summer with the kids and they really helped out.

We have a more than 24 hour car trip coming up (Canada to Florida), so the DVDs are a great idea. Of course, for some unknown reason, they're almost twice the price here...grr....

Thanks for starting this thread! My DD's Ninjago obsession has recently started as well. We got these for her birthday:

This one is nice because it came with a Kai mini figure and a skeleton bad guy. I thought the step by step instructions in a story book format was a good introduction for her to 'small lego' (as DD calls it)
