I like the engineer a lot, but I like the La Canadienne's even more.

Those who have it, did it feel right at the beginning? Or did you have to break them in?
I would get them again if I knew they would become more flexible.
Mine were comfortable right away...I wore my new Veronica slouch boots last night and I actually thought the Engineer ones were more comfortable.

I'm glad you found one that seems to have worked. I personally like the La Canadienne ones the best by a long shot (but honestly, I really don't like the look of Frye boots )

While I do really like the La Canadiennes, (they seriously feel like slippers) I am having a hard time stomaching the price. I do want the comfort but the waterproof qualities and all that might be overkill.
So the jury is still out. And then last night I ordered the next size up in the Engineers to try. SO both those and the Steve Maddens arrive tomorrow.
I know not many of you guys liked those but I thought the spikes were kinda cool!
I am hoping the Engineers in the 10 work and that maybe I can keep the Steve Maddens too. I used my 20% off Piperlime coupon for them.

I have the Engineers, and it took me a while to break them in. They were really stiff and hard to get on at first. However, they are very comfortable now. I definitely like them best!

They were my favorite, but I do think they're overkill. You are paying for weatherproofing that you just do not need.
