Default WTW ? - oath ceremony

Becoming an American citizen soon - woohoo ...

Invitation says to dress appropriately for the celebration.

    Background
    - live in Phoenix, still pretty warm here.
    - tall, medium weight
    - don't love dresses, but like the tunic/dress leggings look

Have light brown leather boots with a chunky heel and black slouchy leather flat Uggs.

    Any ideas? Links?

First of all, congratulations!! As for what to wear, I think your boots sound great. When I took my oath, 20+ years ago, people really ran the gamut in terms of how fancy they dressed. I think as long as you look modest, anything would be fine (i.e. no short shorts, ect.). Something with a bit of red, white or blue in it might be appropriate, too. I think I wore a skirt with a twin set and flats.

    Follow the rules for court:

    - no spaghetti straps or sleeveless
    - no bare midriffs
    - no shorts
    - no flip flops
    - clothing neat and tidy

Wear whatever makes you happy and will look nice in the photos.

    Congratulations!
