Riding boots for short & narrow calves?

i'm thinking about these...in black. (but they have a pretty brown too)

why are the frye paige hard to get on? i think i have the same question you do...looking for riding boots that fit skinny calves, but i also have the frye paige and they seem really wide at my calves, especially if I'm wearing tights.

They actually fit my calves...it's mainly a matter of getting them on. It's a real struggle, and sometimes I just give up. DH has to help get them off if I ever wear them. I guess I just need something easier to get on, probably with a zipper. This is the only issue I have with these boots...otherwise, I them!
