Default PSA Disneystore.com hard to get items

Just wanted to pass this tip along in case someone needs something from Disneystore.com. We've been trying to get something for DS for weeks that is always sold out. I called a few stores a couple hours away yesterday and one guy was nice enough to tell me that their trucks come in on Tues and that the websites inventory usually gets updated on Tues morning also. Mom got online at 5:30 this morning and sure enough the item was in stock! I checked a few hours ago just out of curiosity and it's OOS already. So if you need something, check first thing Tues morning! I'm sure they also update other times, but that tidbit helped us.

It wasn't all that exciting. DS wanted the Jake and the Neverland Pirates play set with the 7 characters to go on his Imaginext Pirate ship. I had no idea they would be so hard to get. There are three stores within 3 hours from me and none of them had them the numerous times I had called. My aunt lives in Tampa and the store near her never had it either. The guy I talked with yesterday said they usually get 2 or 3 a shipment and they are gone quick. Who knew!?!

I will try thanks. I was waiting to buy a few things until friends and family or BF so they'd be 20% off and now 2 of the 3 are OOS (Brave archery set - which I've heard form others is hot item - the Disney store version) and Izzy T shirt.
Another thing that worked for me before was I just told the cast member in the store I was trying to get something and they called me the next week when the shipment came in.
And if just store is sold out but avail online, they'll give you a coupon to order with FS online (or order it for you in store), but I like to get a coupon to have handy.

Oh, good to know about shipping! Too bad I didn't ask about that yesterday.

It's on sale right now for $10, regularly $12.50. My total was $16.xx shipped w/tax.

SO good to know! My little guy fell in love with the Jake Pirate Ship at Costco, but it was like $60, I was hoping that I could swing the Imaginex pirate ship and he woudln't notice, but I think the figurines would seal the deal! Great idea!
