I mix it with plain milk for DS2. He doesn't notice the difference, but he's also young (19 months), so maybe that's why.

I've mixed it with regular milk and DD can notice. She notices it in everything, immediately.

My DD notices when I mix it with plain milk, she'll tell me the milk tastes funny. Doesn't notice when it's in chocolate milk. I mix it in OJ too and she hasn't complained about that either.
DD1 (5yo) didn't like it with milk. It made it thicker I think. We had luck mixing it with juice.
Mom to two amazing DDs ('07 & '09) and a fur baby.
Gluten free since Nov '11 after non-celiac gluten sensitive diagnosis. Have had great improvement or total elimination of: migraines, bloating/distention, heartburn, cystic acne, canker sores, bleeding gums, eczema on elbows, dry skin and scalp, muscle cramps, PMS, hair loss, heart palpitations, fatigue. I'm amazed.
This explains why my kiddos never minded it in their milk...we have rice milk...which is like drinking water...something to thicken it was probably welcomed!
We always did milk...
When I was on it (during last pg) I mixed it with OJ and never noticed it. But I barely noticed it with water.

I tried milk originally, and DS hated it, and, at the time, he was not picky! We use the Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk boxes. We cut the corner of the box and use half a box at a time, so it's not too much chocolate/sugar and is not his main drink. I think because the chocolate milk is already a solution it absorbs the Miralax much better than regular milk.
B just takes with water!

Never argue with an idiot. He'll bring you down to his level, then beat you with experience.
