Target has had some great girls's shoes and boots go on sale last year (and the year before) about the 3rd week of Jan.

I bought these for both my girls (age 4 and 6) last week when they were on sale: http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-105...dler-girls.jsp
They seem better quality than the similar boots at Old Navy and Target and a friend's daughter has the pink pair that she's been wearing for about a month or more and they have held up well. My friend said she sprayed them w/ suede protector. DD2 loves her brown pair, but unfortunately DD1 is picky with shoes and said she didn't like the fit, so I'm back to looking for boots for her to wear with her dresses and leggings to school, as she has about outgrown her current ones.
