I made this dress for DD...I'm so excited how it turned out! And, I found DS a "matching" yellow Ralph Lauren classic button up long sleeve shirt at TJ MAxx last weekend.

We don't do Easter, but Costco has some pretty dresses right now. I don't have a pic, but someone gave DD the yellow one for her birthday. I thought she could wear it to MIL's birthday brunch, but everyone is wearing denim. So I'm not sure when she ever will wear such a fancy dress.

DD2 is good to go. I haven't started looking for DD1 yet.

The Big Bow dress is cute....was it difficult? I could potentially make that for DD2, but it doesn't have large enough sizing for older DD. Hmmmmm.....

No! It wasn't hard at all. It was my first time doing a dress with lining, and also an invisible zipper and it turned out fine! I did google the zipper quite a bit (youTube videos) to get a little more detail than was provided in the pattern.

Also, the pattern suggests linen, but I made it out of cotton. I figured the dress (and all my hard work) would look horrible by the time dd spent a few minutes running around and some time in the carseat....wrinkle city!
