Sorry about that. How can you tell? Do you just feel tightening of your uterus, or is it uncomfortable?

I had that and a tiny bit of spotting around that same time and that was my clue that I had to stop running (I am more of a jogger, but still). Make sure you drink a lot of water as well. Good luck!

Just thought I'd share this. I had BH kick in a lot at 20 weeks. I mentioned it to my dr and it turns out I had a bad UTI which was causing them. They went away as soon as it was treated. I thought I was just getting them early!

I have test strips here and all the little squares were in the "normal" range. But that thought did cross my mind. Thanks!

I had the same issues for my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies, with multiple trips to L&D to stop labor from progressing when the contractions were increasing in intensity, became more frequent and did not go away after laying down on my side for an hour or so. Although it was not fun to have an irritable uterus (to go along with my irritable bowels and bladder, lol), fortunately, I made it to term with both my girls.

Pelvic floor dysfunction can cause this issue too. A specially trained PT can give you exercises.

I hope you feel better and wish you a healthy pregnancy.

I had this problem with Zoey too, and they monitored my cervix. Thankfully, my uterus doesn't seem to do anything to my cervix till about 30 weeks. Chances are, I'll end up on modified bed rest and possibly progesterone shots this time. I never make it past 37 weeks, but that's ok.

I've upped my magnesium to about 900mg/day and it's made a HUGE difference the last 2 days!
