2nd grader shoe size?

3.5 or 4 wide. He turns 8 in April

DS2 is in 2nd grade and is wearing a 4 or 4.5 shoe. He is turning 8 in May.

DS1 is in second grade and his shoes are a 2.

I think I wore a 3 in 2nd grade because by the end of 2nd grade I was in a size 4 in most shoes, but was able to find a pair of size 4 patent Mary Janes for my first communion from the JC Penney catalog. Those were the last pair of kid shoes I ever wore. By 3rd grade I was in a size 5, and by 6th grade was in a solid 9 sized shoe. I have been wearing a 9/1/2 or a 10W since I was 12.

My DD1 will most likely be in a 13.5 or 1 in the second grade. I just hope for my kids sake they don't have really large feet like I do.
