boys church shoes?

i need some ideas. they either wear khaki cotton pants and a button down or plaid shorts and a polo shirt. its not super formal or southern at all. are boat shoes a good choice? sometimes i just let them wear keens with the shorts, but would like something a little nicer for pants...but also want them to be able to wear with shorts.

ideas?

eta: they are 2 and 4 and wear sizes 9 and 12

For late spring/summer we wear fisherman style leather sandals like these http://www.payless.com/store/product...splayName=Boys. Post Labor Day, my guys wear boat shoes or loafer style shoes with their khakis or dress pants.

My boys wear slip on moccasins from Merrell, LE or LLB. In the summer they just wear their keen sandals.

We also do fisherman sandals in summer/ spring.
