    Default Easter books?

I did a search but didn't find a thread. I'm wondering if anyone has any great recommendations! I am interested in both religious and secular Easter books.

My favorite book of all time is The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes which is an Easter book!

We also love the Velveteen Rabbit and have THREE different versions, lol. I'll have to dig them out and write my preference.

We don't have any terrific religious themed Easter books. We have some great books that have Bible stories but nothing specifically illustrated just for Easter.

    Do you have any favorites?

God Gave Us Easter is one someone bought for us, but I agree with the first Amazon reviewer that it jumps around a bit.

We just started reading Easter books this week. We really like Happy Easter, Curious George: http://www.amazon.com/Happy-Easter-C...dp/0547048254/

And although it doesn't talk about Easter, another fave is Hop!: http://www.amazon.com/Hop-Phyllis-Root/dp/0763648795/
It's simple, but I love the cute bunny illustrations and rhyming story!

I just recently discovered this book and thought it was cute. It happens to be on sale for half off ($4.49), so you might want to pick it up and store it away for next Easter: An Easter Prayer.
