Ack. I just ordered a pavilion for my odyssey center of middle row. I was thinking advocate was overkill. Hmmm. Maybe I'll call and switch

There's a big, big difference between a 1992 Volvo and a newer Ody. ADV may well be overkill in a newer car (and makes for a tighter fit next to other carseats/people, probably not worth the tradeoffs of room for safety, really).

Thanks! I was going to get a marathon bc we have a classic blvd that just expired and I always felt the head pillow pushed their head forward a bit. I'm hoping the g3 Is better.
Any other seats you know fit well there RF?

In the Ody's plus one little seat? I think it's roughly ok for most convertibles, if I'm remembering correctly, if you like the Britaxes that's a good choice, but maybe the Radian would work too. I'd also say Graco MySize/Headwise/Size4Me, but it's not got a lot of padding and has some issues with the buckles being almost impossible to undo at random intervals

In the plus one. The review said the radian had some rotation At the top. She posted a video too. The Graco seat turned me off bc of the buckle problem. I looked at the foonf at BBB but didn't love the feel of the fabric and it didn't seem like it was easy to take odd and wash. I haven't seen the next fit.

Radian gets top tethered, like a Britax does (you tie the tether connector strap to a solid leg or seat track down on the floor, and the tether holds the top of the seat solid to prevent rebound in a rear impact).

This is the post I'm referring to. Would you be comfortable with it?

Oh ahhhhh....I seeeeeee.... hmmmmm....Gosh, I just don't know what to think now. Like she says, it does fit the requirements for being a proper install, but that rotation is a little odd, indeed. I'd probably be fine with it, personally, especially if I had a place to top tether. But if you're more comfortable with another seat, go for it.

I have DS radian tethered on the inside track of the front seat. Can I tether both there? Not sure 2 drings would fit. Prefer not to use the drivers side bc other kids load from there.

Should be fine, rebound forces are quite minimal and I've never seen anything 'not' to put two in the same location.
