Default Selecting new Convertible car seat(s)

    Hi,

I'm looking for a reasonably priced convertible car seat for my 9 month old. (Under $100, if under $50 even better!) Most likely I'll need to buy two - I'm ok with buying two different kinds, as long as they are safe

I'd like one to be easy, easy, easy to install and ideally light (for occasional travel), it'll be switched every week in and out of a car. The second car is variable size so compatibility with a smaller sedan is ideal.

Also, does anyone know the best way to dispose of an expired car seat (Britax marathon)

    Thanks!

We just got the Evenflo Tribute and DD seems to like it (she is 9 months as well). It was about $55 at Babies R Us and it is our spare carseat for Grandma and Grandpa's van. We did have to use a pool noodle to get a sufficient recline in RF mode.

We had a Cosco Scenera and I found it terribly difficult to install both forward and rear facing and the harness was awful.

Cut the straps of the expired marathon to dispose.
