My kids are well-behaved...for everyone else!

Just about every sitter we have had has told us how wonderful our kids are. How well-behaved. How easy. How they tell them it's time for bed and they just go get in their PJs and brush their teeth. Don't get me wrong, I think that's awesome, I really do. But how come WE never see said children? We get 1/2 hour tantrums at bedtime! We get kids who complain and/or cry about everything we say or ask. A couple of sitters have told us DS came to them and said he was tired and was ready for bed...in 8 years I have never once had that happen!

Another child must swoop down from another planet when you are away and replace your children, now if only I could figure out how to make that happen when I am at home.
