yep miniboden holds value really, really well. I quit buying DS anything over $6 at gymbo because it doesn't hold value at all. i consider his gymbo his playclothes. Same with DD, though sometimes gymbo will have a dress or something that I'll get her for more (I have a $15 gymbo cap, though!)
GAP also holds value really, really well. Especially for boys. I need to find a new place to sell, though, because GF is sorta dead right now. I do really well at the local JBF, but the brand recognition isn't there for miniBoden...my gymbo sells lot hotcakes there. I joined a group on fb recently, but it's mostly dead, too. not sure where to look now.
ETA: i forgot to say that I think one reason is that MiniBoden stuff sells out, so people will have missed something when it was new and they really wanted it. I know sometimes I'll do that with a top and just be on the lookout for it the next year on resale. I also think part of it is that you can (mostly) only shop miniBoden online, so it's hard to know how to make outfits that will work well together. If someone has already done that for you, it's a bonus! I think this is the same with naartjie...it's not that expensive, but it retains value pretty well because people aren't sure what pieces will work with what other pieces...then someone has a full outfit and BAM you're sold. Gymbo used to sell out of stuff all the time, but I've only seen a few sell outs without HUGE discounts in the last year. I might even be able to tell you which pieces it was....they just overproduce, IMO.
