Default I'm A mother, not YOUR mother.

    Dear co-workers,

Now you see what I mean. I've been out sick for three days. I get back, and there is overflowing garbage everywhere. Empty food wrappers, dirty silverware, half-drunk cups of... mystery liquids.

Of course, nobody picked them up.

    I wasn't here.

I'm A mother, not YOUR mother. Pick up after yourselves.

    Thank you.

Ugh, are you also the only woman in the office? I hate how even at work cleaning the communal kitchen space is treated as "women's work". It's tough to ignore but it is not your job to clean up after these "children".

The ONLY way they will figure it out is if you DO NOT CLEAN up after them!!!!! And if they still don't figure it out, they can wallow in their own mess!!

I don't think it's treated so much as "women's work" as much as a general "someone else will take of that" mentality. Ridiculous.
