4 yo girl bday present?

We're going to our neighbors' daughter's 4th birthday next Saturday. She's very girly - obsessed with mermaids and party is a mermaid/princess theme. I'm looking to spend $30-40 max. Any suggestions?

What about princess dress up clothes? Tiaras and wands too! Disney store has some great ones, as does amazon.

Costume jewelry! DD got a jewelry box filled with fake rings, Mardi Gras bead necklaces, etc a while back, and it's one of her absolute favorite things to play with.

The costume jewelry is a great idea - I will have to remember that one! Princess themed games and puzzles have also been hits with DD (almost 5) and her friends. We have given various combos of 24- 48 piece puzzles, big floor puzzles, princess dominoes, the princess cupcake game and princess books. DD also really likes her music CDs of Disney princess songs.

Yay! Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I love the idea of a treasure chest with maybe a tiara and lots of dress-up jewelry - lets see if I can put it all together in the next 5 days!
