Default Wooden doll bunk beds (for 18" dolls) in Canada?

Title says it all. Has anyone seen wooden doll bunk beds (for 18" dolls - Journey Girls, in this case!) in a B&M store? Or even somewhere that ships without exorbitant prices to Canada? I did find one on Overstock.com that takes care of duty and shipping so you know the price up front and it is coming out to about $62. Gulp. Trying to find it a bit cheaper, if I can.

    TIA!

There are some on Etsy that are around $40 CAD, but I am not sure how much to adjust the price for duty or shipping. Any chance that you are handy with tools or know someone who is? My kids have doll bunks from the ana-white.com plans, and they were pretty affordable.

Thanks, Laura. I did see some on Etsy but the shipping is outrageous (think $42 on a $31 purchase). Sadly, I have no one around who is handy. I did see those Ana White ones but they are far too advanced for me. I'll have to keep looking!

They would be heavy things to ship!

I visited a Target last week to check out what Our Generation doll accessories they had, but the toy department was almost entirely picked over. I'm hoping that they get stocked up with merchandise after the summer clearance period is over - maybe that would give you more options?

Good idea. Our Target is usually pretty picked over, too. A Facebook friend suggested Ikea - turns out they have a wooden doll bed for $24.99! My friend said they fit the AG dolls perfectly. She bought two and just hot-glued them together to make a bunk bed. Works for me!

DD has the IKEA bed for her AG and it fits perfectly! It comes unfinished and I spray painted it glossy white. The bed posts are fairly low, though. It would make for a really low bottom bunk. You could always buy 2 IKEA ones and 4 pieces of wood and nail each bed post to the wood pieces at the height you prefer. I'm not sure if that makes sense...

I had no idea that IKEA had doll-sized furniture! Cool. I googled and found the bunkbeds on IKEA hackers: http://www.ikeahackers.net/2012/01/d...for-dolls.html

    They look really cute!
