Do they squeak when you walk?
I have a pair of the Leopard Patent ones, and I LOVE them. But they squeak when I walk. It makes me mental.
I can send them to Dansko, and they can try to fix the squeak, which probably won't work. So they would send me a replacement, except they don't make the Leopard print anymore (sob).
I'm considering other patent styles (hello, cherry red), but if they are squeaky I might as well keep these.
(And on a funny note, I just saw that I posted about the squeaky Danskos last year, too! So it's been bugging me for a while, LOL!)

I didn't notice my purple ones squeaking while walking.
What I DID notice is that the patent leather took a bit longer to feel "broken in" but I wore mine 24/7 for the first month I had them and that went away.==========================================

I have a PR of box leather one that squeak. Its not the top of the shoe. However, for me I think its the footbed.

Never had a pair that squeeked, including my red patent dansko's. I think you just got a bad pair!
FYI, loved my cherry red patent pair, but be prepared for endless comments alluding to ruby slippers. Can't count t
he times I got a comment like. " if you click you heels can you fly home?" Sigh....

Mine do not squeak. However I do think the patent scuffs more easily. If you get a pattern or design on the patent it doesn't show as much IMO.

I have a leopard pair and only one squeaks. I also have another pair of patent Danskos and that pair does not. Maybe it is something with the leopard? I thought it was just me!

i wear mine with jeans pretty much all fall and winter unless it is snowing.

I wear mine with almost any kind of pant. I have a red patent one, and I find it complements a lot of things.
