LOVE the name Ivy its #1 on my short list of girls names so we will see (induction next Wednesday lol)! I know a lot of people dislike different spellings but I have it spelled "Ivie" and love it!

Only know 1 Ivy and she was named after her mom's maiden family name. So commonality is probably regional.

I love nature names and Ivy is always on my list. The only thing that keeps me from it is every summer I get a nasty case of poison ivy and then go off the name! But I think it's great most of the time!

I like it! It is pretty and seems classic enough (not a made up name at all) but at the same time it is not terribly common. It has pretty associations too.

Just remember that Beyoncé's little girl is Blue Ivy ... not sure if it matters or not but it could make the name more popular. That said, I like the name Ivy. Knew an Ivy growing up.

I like it, but prefer the spelling Ivey for a name.

I love Ivy for a girl! There was an Ivy in my elementary school and she was adorable. I have always loved that name!

I love the name Ivy! Ivy Grace sounds precious. I think it would go well with a single-syllable middle name.

I have a thing for "I" girls' names as they are rather rare (my daughter's name starts with "I"). And DD has a single-syllable middle name.
