I commiserate. My good friend has now, for the entire time I have known her (12yrs) has successfully sewed her (only) daughters costumes from my meeting her in our DD's first grade class through school and now she is sewing for her now college freshman!
I am a "lets think I something cool and rummage thru the house and goodwill!" We use old and new pieces.
Anyway..now that her dd is away she is kinda taking my little one under her sewing wing . Although she is still making her kiddo a costume.
No complaints here!!!! Ill be happy to provide the hair!
