Default rainbow loom vs cra Z loom bracelet maker?

Has anyone tried the cra Z loom bracelet maker? Trying to decide which one to give my nieces.

    It's the same.

I have a friend who works for Cra-Z-Art, the company behind Cra-Z-Loom, and he posted video and stills of the loom, his attempts at bracelets, and the finished products on his FB page a couple of months ago, and I don't see the difference.

They make the same kinds of bracelets and use the same method, materials, and similar instructions. I don't think it'll matter.

Depending on how old they are - 4th grade DD has Rainbow Loom because that's the one that "everyone" had. (It was also the one that was available locally lol).

I wound up getting the Rainbow Loom because after looking into them that was the original made by a father. I decided I'd rather give his family the money than imitators. Although, it wasn't but I few dollars more than a cheaper version, so I'm not that altruistic.

This. The story behind the Rainbow Loom is fabulous. Truly a family creation.

Agreed! The other company is totally ripping off his invention, as far as what I've read.
