Default Ear infection help? (for adults/me)

I am pretty sure I am having the beginning of an EI. I don't have a GP currently and would prefer to avoid the doctor if it's possible. Anything OTC I can do for it?
    Thanks!

It depends on inner or outer ear infection. If it is outer on the skin, I would do vinegar and alcohol. If it is inner, you will need a doc.

Someone (probably here) told me to try a garlic clove in the outer ear to draw the fluid out or whatever. It definitely worked for me. I still did end up on antibiotics but I think it kept it from rupturing until I got to the dr. as it was very severe. What I did was cut the clove in half, dip the cut side in Olive Oil and then held it on to my ear with a bandaid, went to sleep that way.

You can try the Mullein and Garlic oil drops. http://www.amazon.com/Herb-Pharm-Mul.../dp/B001E8DBU8

Thanks! It must have been mild or in my head because it's gone now without any intervention but I will keep these in mind.
