DD wants a bunch of AG things and an iTouch. I think we will get the iTouch and I am going to ask SIL and MIL for the Target Our Generation carrying case and jeep. From my Mom and sister who live near an AG store I'm going to ask them to get hair accessories and an outfit.

My DS1 will be 9, close to 10 at Christmas.
He'd like a tablet and ipod, but I don't think he's getting those. He uses my Kindle Fire a good bit and has a Nook (which is currently misplaced after 2 years :/ ).

He is getting a pr of over ear headphones from my parents http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and Minecraft for xbox from them.

We are considering a bow (he is interested in taking archery classes) or an RC 10 car http://www.rcplanet.com/ProductDetai...Fc4WMgodVGgAEg

He's getting some Imagineering DVDs (was planning on this anyway, but now we are doing our first family trip to Disney, so a good time to purchase them). http://www.amazon.com/The-Science-Di...neering+levers
    http://www.amazon.com/Science-Disney...ef=pd_cp_mov_0

DD will have just turned 7. She wants Molly and Emily. We bought both, but MIL did the same so now we will probably try to sell on CL or we will have to return. Thanks for asking first MIL MIL is going to give Molly and we'll give Emily (although I'd prefer the reverse!). Maybe an AG dog. She also wants Ruthie, but I'm on AG overload, frankly! I still have Marie Grace hiding in my attic, so that may be her bday present. Too. many. dolls. She does not have the Marie Grace and Cecile books, so she's getting the mini doll and book set from Costco from my parents as one of her gifts.

She'll also get a few books, an AG movie set (4 movie deal on amazon http://www.amazon.com/4-Film-Favorit...an+girl+movies ). She still doesn't have a rainbow loom but I think my SIL wants to buy her one. I picked up a lego friends bakery for my 8 yo niece at Costco, but her mom informed me she no longer likes toys, only clothes. So I will prob donate or give to DD vs. return it. I picked up clothes for my 8 yo niece from Justice, her preferred store, which was easy enough.

All 3 are going to have a scavenger hunt after opening their individual presents, and at the end I am planning to have this guy set up http://www.amazon.com/Mickey-Mouse-A...walking+mickey in a huge box if I can find one at an appliance store. That will announce our trip.

    DS2, 6 y/o
    He's our super artistic/theatre one...
Ipod touch (he has my iphone 1 as his music vehicle. He loves taking pictures with my phone and now he's trained that my old iphone can't come off the his alarm/speaker without permission so I'm not worried he'll lose it)
Might see if someone can make a small stage for our playroom, but if not he'll still get some type of stage lighting http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER with colored lights
Some type of art supplies, probably cray-pas and paint
    Tae Kwon Do related items
    Lego set
Maybe a sound system of some sort
    Alaina

DS (just 9) has asked for an itouch or a mini ipad. I am reluctant to get him something this major, but don't want to get him more toys/stuff. I also would like my ipad back (this would be the gift from Santa so I don't think we can give him the one that we already have). Obviously the mini ipad is more expensive than the itouch, but I am just wondering how useful the itouch will be. Right now he uses the ipad for games and reading when we travel.

    Any thoughts?

    Christmas ideas:
    Games: Risk, Skip-bo, Phase10
    Optical Book of Illusions
new books from series that he likes- Lost in Babylon, The Royal Ranger, The House of Hades
gift card to Ben and Jerry's

We gave him the book Art 2 D2 (from the Origami Yoda series) for his birthday and he loves it! It shows how to make origami for different Star Wars characters. The whole series is good... He also got the 2014 Ripley's Believe it Or Not book which he really likes. Oh, and he got Serpentiles from ThinkFun company which is great (this is the company that makes Rush Hour). For kids who like this sort of problem solving, puzzle thing, SmartGames also makes good stuff (we have Temple Trap and the airplane one)

some other ideas for kids this age: knot tying book with string/rope, yo yo, Perplexus, Rubix Cube, small Simon, magnet set, Yes and No books, Mad Libs
We gave DS this "Zecar" years ago and he still loves it! http://www.fatbraintoys.com/toy_comp...Fejm7AodSWUA5A

she was a super nice person and i loved that the 'clasp' on the necklaces were magnets (so the kids can get them on themselves). she told me that if the necklaces break or ANYTHING, she would totally repair them and if i wanted to exchange once i gave them to the girls i could she wanted me really happy i also bought some lampwork earrings for my SIL and mom and she gave me 10 dollars off my total definitely loved the whole shopping experience! if you sign up for her mailing list she mails you a coupon, and if you see anything on her etsy page that you wanted "tweaked" she can definitely work with you. i wish i'd found her before i bought a necklace at a jewelry store for DD's ballet recital

Oh, I am in LOVE with her shop! Need to bookmark it.

Just ordered some flax seed microwavable packs/bags. You can heat them for a minute in the microwave and then put them in bed with you (or use them as cold packs). I got a small, pink giraffe one for my 5 year old niece, and a larger blue flannel one for DS. They also have removable, washable covers. I just got them today and am really pleased with the quality.

DS is getting a Battat Take apart Crane from us http://www.amazon.com/Battat-68026AM...or+5+year+olds
a Texo building set from my parents http://www.amazon.com/TexoTM-Buildin...&keywords=texo

I was looking at the Mic O Mic building sets, but quite a few reviewers said they thought they were too complicated for 5 year olds to build, so I decided not to.

DD2 is getting a Fancy Nancy game from my parents http://www.amazon.com/Fancy-Nancy-Fa...ncy+nancy+game
and a set of Clementine books from us http://www.amazon.com/Box-Clementine...rds=clementine. I got her all 5, but I have this sneaking suspicion that I need to supplement this gift with something. I have not decided what.
