    I don't know if I was the first or the only, but I posted the pork/sauerkraut/apple/beer recipe at some point - glad some BBB households are enjoying it! I can't wait to try both the balsamic pork and apple chutney recipes in this thread too.

    Thanks for posting this! I made it a few nights ago and DH and the kids really liked it. I think my 1 year old polished off a pork chop on his own.

    ok put this in the crock-pot this morning. it's been on for almost 6 hours on Low. am freaking out now though bc i noticed that the juices seem almost boiling (lots of little bubbles) as PP said. ack! hope i didn't ruin it.

    I would call that a simmer, not a boil. I bet it's totally fine.

    you were right. i took it out, put it on Al pan to brush the sauce on it. my dh was already grabbing pieces to eat left and right, lol. after putting the sauce i put it under the broiler for a couple minutes took it out, and it tastes AMAZING. DH was eating it right off the pan. he's headed out the door for another work trip but he took time to eat a good bit of this, it was that good!! dh said we were like wild animals just tearing into the meat thank you for this recipe! hopefully my dd (who is our little meat-eater) will love it! thank u!!
