I'm taking my kids (4 &2) to Chicago tomorrow. We will be staying with my sister who lives in lakeview. So far the only thing planned is the MSI and I already purchased tickets for Saturday. I'm not sure what my kids will think of shedd - leaning toward leaving Sunday open for the zoo. Are there any good parks in my sisters neighborhood? Her place is small so I would like to keep them out of the house as much as possible.
Anything I am missing?

we were just in Chicago two weeks ago. DH and DS accompanied me while I was at a conference. My son is much older, nine, so he loved seeing and walking by the lake. We live on the Hudson River and have access to the Ocean, but for some reason he was fascinated by the lake. They did the Art Institute, which may be too much for your kids and we were going to go to the zoo together on our last day, but opted to shop the magnificent mile instead! I think they have the hop on and off tour busses which can be fun, especially if they are double deckers.
