Default other brand magna tiles: what's the difference?

I was looking at Magna tiles pricing, and I suddenly see that there are other brands out there. The one I'm familiar with are the clear ones called Magna Tiles. But there is a Magna Tiles solid color, Picasso Tiles, and Metro Mags. The other name brands are a bit cheaper. Does anyone have them? Does anyone have both Magna Tiles and another brand? If so, how do they compare? Can you use them together?

We were just discussing this the other day. The others are copy cats. The sold magnatiles are just a different color magnatile...opaque versus clear. I think the Picasso ones and some bad reviews. Not sure about the others. I think someone was going to buy them and report back.
