Default Opinions on Kindle Paperwhite pricing

Do you think the paperwhite will price drop after Christmas? Wondering if I should look for a deal now, or just wait until after the holidays. I'd like one, but not in a rush. Thoughts?

I just read a new one is coming out in a few months. Maybe that'll decrease the pricing on the current?

If that is true, that is frustrating for anyone who bought the model released just a couple of months ago.

It should. BN dropped the price of the Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight from 119 to 99 to 79 with a promo code from August until recently. (I know because I bought my mom one for her birthday at the end of August for 99 plus a 20 giftcard) Now they have the new "Nook Glowlight" for 119 that came out a couple weeks ago,
and I just bought a 'Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight" (the older version) for $50 today from Best Buy.

I feel like when the paperwhite came out, they just discontinued the kindle touch. I don't remember discounts on it.
