When to start potty training and what method?

Hi- just wondering how you know when to start potty training and what methods are out there that you like? TIA

I started with my daughter when she was two years old. It just came naturally as she commonly sees me when I use the bathroom she said she wants to pee so I let her sit and do her thing. Unlike with my eldest at two he can tell me if he wants to pee but if he wants to do nr 2 he would ask me to put his diaper on. It really depends on the child maybe your baby will be like my daughter a little bit advance than the others.

I used the Oh crap book too and really liked it. The commando suggestion seemed strange but it totally works.
