What about Scottsdale, AZ? It's in the low 70s in February, and there's a Mayo Clinic nearby. There are many amazing resorts in the area - we love the Westin Kierland. Flights are often cheap to Phoenix. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g3...na-Hotels.html

San Diego! We just came back. It was high 70s every day. We did one day SeaWorld, one day zoo, one day old town and the others just hanging around in the warm weather. Most hotels have outdoor pools. We liked our hotel, but chose it for specific reasons that probably won't matter to you (we didn't want to rent a car).

I lived in San Diego and I would not count on warm temps in Feb., I think you are better off in South Florida.
