Okay, I am also going to include the very end of December, since we did a huge donation:

    75 piece of clothes
    10 household items

    Tossed:
4 Home Depot Kids Workshop projects

    Sold:
    10 kids clothing on Ebay

    Subtotal: 99 items

    Yearly total: 99 items

$ recouped: $60.76 (not including tax write-off of donations)

I haven't been good about writing down what exactly I'm getting rid of (I have a chart with boxes we're filling in), but we just passed the 500-item mark when I went through my jewelry box...I had stuff in there from junior high! At our garage sale last month, I sold 200 pieces of kids' clothing (at 25 cents apiece) and various other items and made about $70, and I've sold a few of my clothes on craigslist for about $30 altogether. So I'm only at $100 altogether, not counting donation write-offs. I've taken one load to Goodwill (about 200 clothes/toys/books), and I'm collecting another box to donate. My kids are really into it and were super excited when we went over 500! I've been saving all of DS' clothes for the past 7 years, hoping we'd have another boy, so I have a lot to get rid of.
