DCL still has availability on 3 and 4 night cruises leaving that week. Just sayin....
Technically, I don't think your girls need passports for that cruise. And based on our experience on the Fantasy in July, we didn't really need them for the cruise we took to Mexico and Grand Cayman!

I like the Arizona suggestion since you won't have to worry about rain and it will be reliably warm. Florida has been fairly rainy so far this winter (and our winter in the DC area has been far too wet for me). Anything U.S.-affiliated in the caribbean would be good too.
We live in the DC area as well. I'm looking at this resort in VT - http://www.starwoodhotels.com/luxury...ropertyID=3382. It drivable but not a warm beach location. We are an outdoorsy family. It looks like a nice resort with shopping, hiking, & sightseeing in the area.
So what did you decide????

Yeah, I wasn't sure if I should update. Try not to be jealous (cough). I'm taking the girls to Michigan to visit my MIL! Not warm, not cheap, but there's a nice grandma there who loves the girls with all her heart. DH is staying behind, my first time traveling with the girls solo. So wish me luck!! Not the glam trip I had in mind, but DDs are happy.

Aw, that'll be a great trip! Enjoy the love, snow and hit cocoa!
Oh my! Well, have fun! Michigan can be fun.

Enjoy! Let your MIL take the girls while you go for a pedicure!
