    Default Serious boot help needed

I have a pair of Aquatalia boots that I have worn for the past 5 years or so (these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003CF...f_=pd_sxp_f_pt)
I adore them and naturally they were discontinued last year, and I did not buy a replacement pair. The zipper is broken in several places, the lining is ripped, and the suede is faded. In short, I need a new pair. This week is my birthday and my parents offered to buy me a new pair that costs up to $300. Her alternate suggestion was that if I can't find anything I like, she would give me the aquatalia boots she bought last year before they became $500-600. If I buy a new pair, I'd like a similarly styled boot to my current ones, not with the very round toes I see everywhere.

Check our La Canadienne. Similarly styled, waterproof and dressier. I find them super comfortable as well. I also love my Keen Akitas, which have a similar wedge to the ones you linked.

Thanks for your help. I got these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._ya_os_product

wallawala, I love the boots you linked to. They had a 16" shaft circumference though, and my skinny legs need 14".

I love those, esp the black/graphite. Thankfully for me they are sold out in my size! (I just got rid of two pairs of booties and bought 2 pairs of boots in the last month!! I don't need another black pair...)

Those look very sharp. Hope you like them!

Totally OT, but my go to boots this brutally cold winter have been my UGG brooks boots. Love wearing those boots and having warm feet on a freezing day like today. I don't even wear socks and change into my heels at work. I am in love with those boots. Highly recommend them!

Oooh- I really like those! I have been on the hunt for warm, everyday boots since the Keen Baby Berns I tried didn't work. Looks like these could be a good option! Are they super hot when you wear them inside? Do you have black or brown?

I have the dark brown ones which are super versatile. I wear them with both black and brown/cream color outfits. I do not feel super warm inside. I wear them to the movies, while running errands etc. I only wear them when it's pretty cold out though (under 30 degrees).

Thanks! They look great and I love the brown. May have to order those...I think they sound even better today when it is well below zero and chilly inside too!
