Default Light(er) weight reversible stroller available at Babies R Us

Any recommendations for a lightweight (or lighter weight) stroller with a parent facing option that is available at BRU? I have something to trade in during the trade-in event and would love to use the 25% off coupon on a new stroller. A bunch of the good brands are excluded though: Baby Jogger, Bugaboo, Mamas & Papas, Peg Pérego, Phil & Teds, and Quinny.

hmm...there aren't many light weight reversible strollers to begin with...and the bee and versa are the 2 i think of, which are both excluded.

Holly gives the Simmons Kids Tour Buggy a pretty good review, but its still 26lbs and nt a very compact fold.

It looks like its the same stroller as the Delta Tour Vantage (and this one has pics RF)

That's what I was afraid of. I'd rather use our BJCM even though it's not reversible. I was hoping to get an Uppa Cruz because they are not excluded, but apparently they're not excluded because BRU doesn't carry them!

I was going to say the Cruz. Sorry that's off the list.

I was perusing the BRU flier that came in the mail and there seem to be a Graco that is reversible and on the less expensive side, but I don't know any of the specs.

what about selling the BJCM and buying a versa? they can be had for less then $300 (on amazon now).

That's a good suggestion and u can always use the bed bath & beyond coupon to get 20% towards uppa Cruz stroller.

Isn't Baby Jogger supposed to be releasing that umbrella stroller that reverses in March? That should be much lighter than the currently available options. It's already available in Europe and it's called the NJoy Bubble there. I think MSRP is projected to be only $199 too, which makes it cheap in the world of reversible strollers.

ETA: But if I had a newborn like you TwoBees I would snap up one of the cheap BJ Versas on sale now. The Trade-In event is seductive, but rarely the best deal.

Isn't Uppa excluded from BBB coupons?

The new BJ might definitely be an option, I didn't know there was a new one due to come out.

Is there a reason the Versas are so cheap right now? Weren't there some issues or a recall?

Uppa is excluded. However if you go and order it at a Bed Bath beyond store, they often don't look at the exclusions, and will let you use it anyways.

I wouldn't hold my breath on the new Baby jogger stroller being out at the time they estimate. Their past track record indicates it will be out months after it was actually supposed to be released. Plus with it being an umbrella stroller, not sure how great it will be.

The Versa was recalled, but the problems have been resolved. Right now all baby jogger strollers are super cheap because they are clearing out the old stock. They have a new logo now, so they want to get rid of all the previous ones.
