    Minky.

I have some cotton and some minky. The cotton are fine, but the minky are soooo soft.

If you can get a couple to try out from a few different sellers, you'll figure out what you like. Don't order a lot until you try them out. What looks like it would work great online won't necessarily work for you (width, length, thickness, material, etc.).

When you get them also try them with a variety of underwear styles if you wear more than one. I ordered some snap bottom wing ones from one of the sites and promptly realized they were fine with narrower undies but bunched up any underwear with fuller seat coverage like boy shorts or hipsters.

Minky or velour. I only have flannel for liners.

I prefer cotton. The minky are soft but I always reach for my cotton ones first. Velour is my least favorite.
