    Default causal calf-length black boots

Hi! I need recommendations. I don't want a heel and would prefer to not get suede or uggs type. thanks!

By calf length do you mean just below the knee? If so I'd at least look at the Keen Bern Baby Berns. Casual, waterproof, really comfy.

I love my Dansko slouch boots. Super ergonomic and stylish too!

ETA looks like the ones I bought last year at REI.com are no longer being sold but look at Danskos!

These are on clearance at Garnet Hill with an extra 40% off code (K4WMTE17) through 2/18. They have some other really cute boots also.

Are the gentle souls boots really all that fab? Because at $107 in brown (which is what I want), I'm kind of caving. And I don't even need boots. Free shipping by any chance?

I find the Gentle Souls Buckled Up to be one of my comfiest, "go to" boots. I tend to wear them more b/c they are more comfortable, soft, and easy to wear. I normally wear a 7.5 wide or 8 medium, and I found the size 8 to be a tad too large, with slippage in the heel. The 7.5 fits just right.

I bought these a few weeks ago and can't rave about them enough: http://www.sperrytopsider.com/en/suf...-boots&start=8

Not only are they AMAZINGLY comfortable, but I get compliments EVERY single time I wear them! They're also very weatherproof, which is important where I live. I had a local cobbler/leatherworker take them in because they were too wide in the calves for my skinny legs, but now they are absolutely perfect and I wear them almost every single day!
