Default Tell Me About Frye Boots

Which style Frye boots are your fave? I was looking at the Melissa buttons, Veronica slouch or Paige riding boot. The Melissa's look a little like a cowboy boot to me. Are they? And do they ever go on sale at Piperlime?? I have a credit I need to use!

I can't say enough! I have black Veronica Slouch and brown Pippas that I love. I've had the black ones for four years and they still look awesome. Sooo expensive but worth it because they last and most are very classic styles too. I had the Melissas at one point but returned bcuase I felt a little cowboy-ish in them...but when I see others in them they look soooo cute!

I have the dark brown Pippas. I like how they are less cowboy and more classic riding boot.

I have two pairs of vintage fryes (one mid calf, one knee length), and then a pair of Lindsay Spur. Would like a pr of veronica slouch and love the Pippas too.

They are beautiful boots and I would love to own a pair!!! My only concern is the majority of the boots do not have zippers.....

I have a vintage pair of the original campus boots that I picked up at a thrift store; I LOVE them. They're probably 30+ years old, and still look fabulous. They're also super comfortable. I can wear them for a whole day working on my feet and my feet feel great at the end of the day. I did find that I sort of had to break them in to my feet, but once I had they were awesome.
