I'm tired of staying indoors while my kids play outside in the winter. And to ensure that it never snows again around here, I've decided to invest in appropriate winter gear so I'll be comfortable outside.
When do the great markdowns happen? Patagonia currently has some stuff up to 50% off but I don't think I want to pay even the sale price for pants that won't get worn *that* much. I searched some today for other brands and the sizes are already somewhat limited, but the markdowns don't seem to be great.
Websites you recommend? And if you have a style of pants and/or boots, please let me know!

I bought mine on April 17th last year from Amazon for $33.xx that were down from like $150. I would wait until the end of season. I have worn them everywhere this winter. I am hoping they will get really cheap again this year.
