Default Kid activities near Delray Beach?

We're spending a week with my aunt in Florida, and I'm wondering if any of you have suggestions for fun activities/places to visit with the kids (ages almost 2 and 5).

Here are some ideas on the list:
    Lion Country Safari
    Butterfly World
    Palm Beach Zoo

Both children are totally crazy for animals. I toyed with the idea of Seaquarium in Key Biscayne, but they keep dolphins and orca, and I don't want to support that. I'd love to go to a good aquarium, though.

    Any other suggestions?

I grew up near there & visit annually. here are my recs:
There is a Playmobile Fun Park in Palm Beach Gardens that is an awesome rainy day activity or even a get out of the sun for a portion of the day activity. The admission is only $1!
There are some great playgrounds in Boca @ Sugar Sand Park.
    Butterfly World is great.
    Boynton Beach Children's museum.
    Loxahatchee to see alligators.
The beach, of course - Delray Beach is great.

I haven't been to these, but they are on our list:
    Wakodahatchee Wetlands
    Peanut Island
    Green Cay wetlands
    Gumbo Limbo Nature Center
    Looking for manatees
    Busch Wildlife Sanctuary

BTW - I came to the same conclusion re: Miami Seaquarium.

There's a very nice play area on the intercoastal right off Atlantic Avenue: http://mydelraybeach.com/parks-and-r.../veterans-park. Some climbing structures, swings, etc and a gazebo, etc. There is also a boat tour that leaves right from there that is on our 'sometime' list.

    Have fun!

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm looking forward to the trip! We've still got feet of snow on the ground, and it's 16 degrees here right now! I usually love winter and am not a huge fan of heat and humidity, but this winter has been COLD! I'm ready to swim in the ocean and enjoy the sun.
