    Default Exersaucers

What do we think? We didn't have one with DD1, but DS loved his for a couple months. DD2 is almost ready for one and I can tell she would love it, but I'm reading that OTs and PTs hate them. What do you think? What did you do? Would you make the same choice now? TIA!

um, that's how I survived that few months time period when it worked for them!!!! To heck with what PTs hate---and, believe me, I love my PT but this is survival here, not optimum outcomes. At least it was with me....

This is where I'm at with this, but I feel super guilty about it. It's not that bad right?

Anything is bad if over used or used wrong. DD had a jumparoo and an exersaucer and used both for a LONG time because she was a late walker. I could never have functioned without it

I followed the above advice. I guess I am not sure why you need one?

I used one with all 3 of mine but not for more than 20 min at a time. They all loved it and didn't have any developmental problems. It was great for grabbing a shower. I could see them and they were entertained and could see me.

I don't have an opinion on this topic; I just wanted to say it's good to see you, Megs!

I wouldn't buy one and I didn't ask for one because of those guidelines but someone gave us one for DC 2 & 3 anyway. It was great!!! It gave me a place to put a baby for 20 minutes so I could shower, clean a toilet, etc. Like most things, if you use it sparingly I'm sure it will be fine. FWIW DC 2&3 walked sooner than DC1.

In the real world, how many adults have you met with "an old Exersaucer injury?"
