    Default silicone steamer for popcorn!

I found these silicone steamers that work for homemade microwave popcorn! I currently use a brown paper bag, but it would be nice to have this option, too. The only thing is, it's a Canadian company.

Has anyone seen anything like this in the U.S.?

Amazon has a few that look similar. Here's one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001JJMWXE

How would you cook popcorn in one of those? I'm intrigued!

    Default silicone steamer for popcorn!

I make popcorn in the microwave with a Pyrex bowl. You don't need any oil. The heat pops the popcorn.

ETA: in my microwave it takes about 3.5 minutes, and more kernels pop if I heat the bowl empty for a minute before putting the popcorn in.

I have not used silicone steamers for popcorn, but purchased several in different shapes from http://www.shopmastrad.com/Default.asp. We use them almost daily! Great for baking fish (like en papillote) in the oven, and for steaming veggies and corn on the cob in the microwave.

Right now I just use a brown paper bag from Panera for the same purpose!
