Default Best place to find rain pants in Canada?

My nine year-old's summer camp packing list came out yesterday, and she'll need a rain jacket and rain pants. I've checked the MEC website, and their gear is more than I want to spend for a week of camp where they might not be used at all! Is there anywhere else that I can look without resorting to ordering from LL Bean?

Is there an H&M near you? They have a couple options in the 7-8y size if she can squeeze into them http://www.hm.com/us/subdepartment/K...&Nr=4294884913

I have seen them at Children's Place on occasion. I can not vouch for how waterproof they are. What about Canadian Tire?

I think I once saw them at the Bay as well. The problem is the timing - they are seasonal and I have no idea how seasons are determined for rain gear around here, LOL.

Oooh, I think they have something similar for bigger kids, too: http://www.hm.com/us/product/95920?article=95920-A

    I usually forget about H&M!

No kidding! I grew up in this province, and never thought that it rained enough that I needed waterproof pants! The price point at Canadian Tire is excellent, though DD1 really doesn't like yellow very much!

I realize I'm late to the game on this one, but we got DD a pair of rain pants at Wal-mart (last year, though I imagine they'd carry them again?) for under $10. I wouldn't call them 100% waterproof, but water-resistant, at the very least. Hope you found some!
