I just bought one. It says they are machine washable. Does this mean in the dishwasher or washing machine? I'm confused and have read differing things.

from beatrix faq: "Lunch Boxes: Wash in delicate cycle of laundry machine or top rack of dishwasher. Line dry. Pre-treatment with a spot cleaner such as Oxy Clean or Spray 'n' Wash is strongly recommended."
