    Default Crib rail/guard recomendation

We have a wooden convertible crib with wooden slats underneath. I think it is time to remove the side of the crib and start the transition to the big girl bed. Ok, it is probably past the time I am looking for recommendations for a good crib rail/guard to stop her from falling out of bed. Most i see say they are not for wooden slat cribs. It is a Young American convertible crib

We had the same situation when we transitioned both cribs. With DD, my DH somehow rigged a BRU bedrail to work bc we couldn't find anything that actually worked. With DS (same crib), we just cut a fat pool noodle to the right length and stuck that under the sheet and mattress pad. We used that for a month or two while he adjusted and then switched to nothing as falling out of bed was not really an issue for him.

I bought this on recommendation of the BBB and it has worked great for us.

I used pool noodles tucked under the fitted sheet.

We were bedbug foam rail users, too, on the BBB recommendation. We love them!
