    If it is it bothering your child you can skip the dentist. My son's tore up his mouth a bit so we went. His tooth was loose. I forget what caused it 7-8 yrs ago. He got a grey tooth that stuck around for 1-2 years. It was slightly discolored. My son was an early tether and at 10 has all adult teeth minus one. It may stick around for a bit.

    DS tripped on a mat at daycare and smashed his mouth on the edge of the sink. He was 2. Two teeth turned grey, but the did turn back after a few months. We took him to the dentist, who said the teeth were fine/nothing we could do but wait & see. I was thankful the color went away, it would have been a long time with grey front teeth.
