    Default which becos soleil option?

for about the same price, i can either get:

the original beco soleil that does not come with any accessories but i can purchase the accessory pack which includes the infant insert, hood and drool pads.

    or

the new beco soleil which includes snap-on hood and small snap-on bag (no strap, smaller than carry-all bag). you can see the small bag and hood attached to this grey beco soleil.

i'm not sure if the infant insert + drool pad or the snap-on bag is the better option to go with for the same price.

I like that the beco straps crisscross. I don't think the tula does that. I feel more secure with crisscross straps.

Get the option with the hood - you'll use the hood for sun protection & naptime.

However, I don't think there's really any advantage to criss-crossing straps in a front carry - buckle carriers like the Tula & the Ergo, which I had, have a cross-buckle to keep the straps on your shoulders!

I didn't find I needed any additional flexibility to secure the clip behind my back with the Ergo, but, of course, YMMV.
