I know there were a lot of people who loved their Nap Nannies ... this may be an alternative to a rock n play sleeper?

Yes it does. We loved our Nap Nanny. Had I known about the RNP Sleeper when I first had DD2 I would have bought it in a heart beat because when we tried it in the store when she was 2/1/2 mos. old she loved it and was instantly happy, but I thought she'd outgrow it too fast so I bought the Nap Nanny instead, which she used for almost all daytime sleep until she was 6 months old. I do like the design of the Day Dream Sleeper. Still expensive compared to RNP sleeper, but it could be a must have product for a baby who doesn't like to sleep.
